Jai Prakash Ramalingam

Jai is a dedicated social worker specialising in organisational development and is a certified FIRO-B practitioner. With his passion for positive change and track record as a trailblazer, he has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing groundbreaking national change initiatives in Singapore. His notable achievements include his involvement in the first Enabling Masterplan, the set-up of the first Social Service, the transformation of a 24-hour Child Protective Service, and the establishment of the National Anti-Violence and Sexual Harassment Helpline. With over two decades of experience as a senior civil servant, he has been at the forefront of promoting policies and services for the benefit of persons with disabilities, children/youth at risk, and families in need.
In his role as a social change consultant, Jai has worked with social service agencies in Singapore and internationally, bringing his expertise in systems thinking and spearheading transformative initiatives. Jai shares his wealth of knowledge as an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where he passes on his knowledge of social policy analysis and development and nurtures the next generation of change-makers.
