Sustainability Message

Pledging our support for Sustainability means that we are committed to helping our clients strengthen collective sustainability, both in terms of superior business practices (Doing Well), and in the social and environmental mission (Doing Good).

Sustainability has become a key business imperative and opportunity for breakthroughs. How do we turn sustainability into an enlightened self-interest for organisations? How do we help organisations innovate with the environment and community in mind, or at least, not further deplete that which cannot be replicated? How do we get them to see that every day, they impact the lives of thousands of employees and their families by their employment practices?

Similarly social organisations and enterprises, who exist with a social mission in the first place, need to learn how to professionalise their services and “Do Well”. This includes being able to generate enough resources, stakeholder support and financial sustainability so that it can fulfill its social mission over time and do more good in the long-term.

Other than our capacity-building programmes and workshops, we are also a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and a local chapter of the Center for Business as an Agent for World Benefit (BAWB), Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Through Sustainability Institute & the Center for BAWB, we hope to raise awareness amongst businesses & social enterprises that “doing good” is fundamental to “doing well.”
